Designed, created & field tested by a shark fisherman, for shark fisherman!!! *** PROVEN ON XL SHARKS *** (As seen on Instagram shark.n.shoot) Alot of time has been spent tweaking, testing & CATCHING SHARKS before perfecting. Now this 316 Stainless Steel Anchor – Semi Breakaway shark fishing anchor is the BEST on the market! (And unlike other anchors, this is NOT made with inferior metals, designs or sharp points.) We find this anchor holds well in 30kph winds and 2.5m swells... Any worse weather conditions than that and landbased shark fishing is usually called off anyways. DEPLOYMENT 🚁🛶 Simply drone or kayak deploy, wind up the slack until the anchor digs in and the line tightens... And wait whilst the bait stays put in the bite zone for a screaming SHARK RUN! BREAKAWAY SETUP EXPLAINED: We find 20lb monofilament nylon works best for a breakaway line attached between the tail end of the anchor and the swivel end of the shark leader. And the head end of the anchor secured to the leader... This way if the bait needs to be retrieved, simply lean back on the rod with full drag and strike, the 20lb breakaway mono line will pop and the anchor will turn around for easy retrieval. KEY ANCHOR FEATURES ⚓ - Heavy Duty made with genuine 316 Stainless Steel – Built to endure saltwater environments without corrosion. - Semi Breakaway System – Dual eyelets allow for secure main line connection at the head and a lighter line on the tail for controlled release. - Optimized for Performance – Small enough for drone dropping, big enough arms to hold in the current, yet light enough to ensure sharks dont spit the bait! (2mm cable, 3mm external diameter with coating). - Slimline nickel plated copper crimps, 2 on each end. (New design for improved strength, avoid both slippage and won't get caught sliding through teeth) - 6/0 stainless steel crane swivel (600lb/272kg). - 5m red nylon coated cable. (This ensures the breakaway line only pops when the line is being retrieved, if a shark takes a run with it and spits it out, the anchor will remain operational for the shark to come back, it wont get washed in / need to be wound in and drone dropped back out) *** Crush the barbs if chasing 1000lb sharks such as massive tigers to eliminate the chance of hooks bending if the hook strikes hard thick cartillage and doesnt penetrate past the barb... This is the main reason we see any brand of shark hook ever bend! *** HAPPY SHARKIN!
