Traditional Knowledge: Ubulondo and Umono Language & Title: "Ubulondo" is a Bemba word that roughly translates to "the art or act of fishing". The Umono (Fishing Basket): This is a traditional trap made from woven reeds or grass. It is designed to be placed in shallow waters, floodplains, or swamps, allowing water to flow through while trapping mature fish.
