3-5 years Sunday November 15th 2-4 p.m. (registration includes 1 child + 1 grown up)Workshop facilitator: Liana De Francesco (She/Her) Dive into pure whimsy by decorating and embellishing your very own felt Gnome hat and build forest faerie dwellings to entice even the most discerning faeries. Using materials foraged from the forest, along with traditional art supplies, this workshop will honour the season with a little magic, inspired by the natural world. *Registered participants are invited to play in the studio prior to the workshop, at no additional cost. About the facilitator: Liana is a natural craftsperson with a love for seasonal creativity and nature-based materials. With a background in environmental studies and forest conservation, she brings an appreciation for the rhythms of the natural world and the changing seasons into her creative process. She especially enjoys nature crafting, seasonal projects, crocheting, and exploring the many ways people can connect with the outdoors through handmade creations inspired by its everyday wonders. Liana holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Studies from York University and a Master’s Degree in Forest Conservation from Toronto Metropolitan University.
