Moths are the rustic butterfly and this little guy is heralded in some cultures as a sign of new beginnings and spiritual transformation, including the transition into fall. August is the end of their season, making them a pretty little end of summer visitor. Now for the strange facts! These little weirdos don’t eat during their adult lives. They have to consume as much as they can during their caterpillar stage to have enough energy to be the little flying beauties that they are. Personally, we’re bummed they don’t get snacks.
