Sabre Paragon Grips: Hypalon Reinforced Zero Chalk Material Stowaway Transition Fold Back Mechanism Neoprene Wrist Guards with added protection unique to SABRE Custom Apex Cut Designed by Sabre Rapid Pull Nylon Wrist Strap Paragon Grips by SABRE are a pair of hypalon reinforced leather grips protected by neoprene wrist guards. The cut and formation of the grip has been developed by Sabre to provide maximum width on the bar at the apex of the grip while also allowing room to manoeuvre the athletes thumb around the bar. The grip is further reinforced by the stitched apex fold which allows a more robust use. The rapid pull strap is constructed of smooth nylon material that allows the athlete to form a tight seal around the wrist without the material becoming stuck or difficult to thread through the ring. The stowaway mechanism on the Paragon provides CrossFit athletes with the ability to fold and stash their grips while transitioning from the bar to the next movement. The stowaway function was born through extensive trialing of CrossFit grips which identified a major fault with grips which meant the athlete was having to rotate the grip 180 degrees around the wrist to free their hands for movements. Even when the grips were rotated they constantly obstructed the athlete from having access to weights and other CrossFit equipment.
