However, to use them with a weighted adapter, there were some significant improvements that I believe would be beneficial. So I made a few & the results are fantastic. I would like to share them with you. Marty's TNT ferrules improvements over the standard TNT ferrules with weighted extension include: Increased weight (.1 oz on average). Stainless steel material so it will look great all season. Once installed, the arrow will have a shorter OAL (overall length). No wasted space internally. One piece design (stronger). Less moving parts. Less failure points. Increased arrow installation depth for better adhesion. Tighter installation tolerances for Increased accuracy. Roll pin hole & stainless roll pin included. Made in America, with American material and American labor. The updated ferrules will now work with all 5/16" and 8mm arrows without issue. We no longer need to differentiate.
