The North Wind… a caribou sculpture depicting the nimble speedy caribou of the north. These creatures I have witnessed on my outdoor expeditions. They can be in one place disappear behind a boulder then show up half a mile away somehow intermittently undetectable. I had a lot of fun making this sculpture out of walnut and spruce. 45 inches long 45 inches wide. 2.5 inches thick spruce slab. water color and polyurethane coated. Caribou has charcoal burn and fiber brushed finished. Show more
