For almost 30 years his artwork has been concerned with the relationship between various forms of remembrance and the representation of the past.Often working in an installation format (with a strong emphasis on photography) his projects have ranged from explorations of the pathology of personal and institutional memory to the impact of forced displacement on refugees and succeeding generations.
