DESCRIPTION At 10,023 feet above sea level, Haleakala's spectacular view has captured the hearts of visitors and locals in Maui, Hawaii. This photo was captured right before sunset. "Haleakalā" means "house of the sun" in Hawaiian, and legend goes that the demigod Maui lassoed the sun from its journey across the sky as he stood on the volcano’s summit, slowing its descent to make the day last longer. OUR FRAMES Framing artworks is an art itself. The right frame and materials will enhance the presentation of an artwork and can make it last for a very long time. We currently offer lightweight wood frames with a Scandinavian design aesthetic. Each frame is hand-crafted with a sheet of artist-grade, shatter resistent acrylic glass. This type of glass will also minimize glare. Each frame comes with easy hanging hardware so your artwork is ready to hang as soon as it arrives. This glass will also minimize glare and reflections.
