Upper Crust- Horse & Buggery DVD. The Upper Crust are an AC/DC inspired Rock band from Boston who perform their swaggering riffy Rock N Roll dressed in powdered wigs, buckled shoes and ruffled finery as 18th century French aristocrats. They stay rigorously in character throughout, sneering at the “foul congregation” of their plebeian fans and raising their pinkie fingers between songs in a foppish variation of the classic devil horns gesture. The Upper Crust are one of those rare bands where the schtick and the music work so well together. The music rocks way beyond the lyrics and custumes, but the concept is so painfully on the mark that you are thankful that a band like this exists. The Upper Crust are fuckin AWESOME.
