In this workshop you will discover how to handbuild beautiful expressive forms with coils from our tutor and previous Guest Artist in Residence Ruby-Jean Whitehead. Explore Ruby's coiling techniques for creating larger vessel forms while maintaining strength and integrity, and push your skills to taller and wider shapes. This is a 2-part workshop, designed to allow your vessels to firm up over a week to be ready to extend further in the next session. You will also get the opportunity to play with underglaze and textural decoration, and at the end of the final session your work will be glazed and fired by NPS, reading for you to take home in 2-3 weeks. All glaze materials, tools, and firing is included - no hidden costs. You must be able to attend both sessions in order to book into this course.
