Prep the wall: Surface must be smooth, clean, dry, and fully cured. Remove dust, fill holes, and remove outlet covers. Fresh paint should cure per manufacturer guidance. Create a plumb line: Use a level to mark a straight vertical line as your starting guide. Apply the first panel: Starting at the top, align to the plumb line. Smooth downward with a squeegee or soft cloth, working from the center outward to remove air. Add panels: Install the next panel edge-to-edge (or with a slight overlap if preferred), carefully aligning the design. Avoid stretching the material. Trim: Use a sharp blade to trim at ceilings, baseboards, and around fixtures. Settle time: Allow 24 hours for the adhesive bond to set.
