ABOUT THE PROGRAMME Specifically designed to prepare you for the land navigation phase of SFOD-D selection, this programme focuses on developing aerobic capacity, enhancing recovery from repetitive stress, and building strength endurance. Through this targeted approach to training, it also minimises the risk of training based MSK injuries, ensuring you can sustain peak performance throughout selection. WHY WE DESIGNED THIS With over a decade of experience training UKSF candidates, our expertise has also attracted many US SFOD-D candidates seeking a structured approach to their training to remove the guesswork. Through collaboration with successful candidates, we conducted a needs analysis tailored to this phase of selection. Our research identified some common weaknesses in preparation, including insufficient adaptation of structural tissues and a reduced capacity to perform under heavy fatigue. This cycle is designed to stimulate the strengthening of connective tissues, enhance joint resilience, and build a strong aerobic foundation under load, ensuring you are physically prepared for the demands of selection.
