DESCRIPTION The USB Non-Magnetic Keyboard Emulator is intended to read the unique 16 digit address of any iButton® and download it into the users application be it Word,Excel or Ou tlook etc etc. The functionality is similar to hand typing the digits into a normal keyboard with the obvious advantage of doing it automatically saving time and accuracy. A USB-b type socket is mounted on the side of the box and an appropriate printer cable communicates with the host computer via it's standard USB port. The iButton® Keyboard is ideal for registration of and recording of iButton™ prior to configuration into say any system where the unique ID is recorded prior to dispatch to end customer IE recording for traceability purposes etc. Care should be taken as the unit is designed for Non-Magnetic Keys and is not compatible with Magnetic Keys although there is a similar part avilable. It should also be noted, the unit functions only as an English Keyboard Emulator and not suitable for other languages.
