Our optional headboard lights provide for a softly lit reading nook with each light wired to it's own power switch discretely inside the cubby. Headboard cubbies can be incorporated into any of our headboard styles, and are built above the height of your mattress based on the required measurements provided with the order of your bed. Cubbies are centered within the headboard and width is determined based on the style of the headboard chosen to provide the most uniform look. Cubbies are 8 inches deep and approximately 8 inches in height. Height may vary depending on how much headboard is exposed between the top of the mattress and the top of the headboard. USB/Power Outlets are equipped with 2- 3 prong receptacles, 2- Type A USB ports, 1- Type C USB ports compatible with most kinds of USB devices, including Apple Protocols, Samsung Protocols and Standard BC1.2. (Not for laptops) Headboard lights are made of steel in a matte black finish with integrated LED, 5W, 3000K, 300lumen lightbulb. Each light is on a dimmable light switch conveniently hidden inside the headboard cubbies. Please note, the larger lights as shown in some of the pictures has been discontinued and is no longer available. The standard headboard lighting we now use is as shown in the fist picture and is described in the above note.
