This unique boutique instrument is a Crimson Guitars Master Built S Type model, handmade by Ben Crowe, the master luither and founder of Crimson Guitars. The body wood is 2 piece F lamed Ash, the neck is one piece Flamed Maple and fretboard is jet black smooth Ebony. Finished with Crimson's hand applied preprietry finishing oil, for a tactile feel and sustain for days. The guitar also has some pretty serious hardware installed; this includes a Wilkinson VS401 steel block tremolo and a set of three Seymour Duncan SSL-1 single coils and a Seymour Duncan Hotrails mini humbucker spare in the case. Schaller locking M6 tuners with spare black heads. The electronics are all top quality and British made. It has a bi-action steel truss rod and two carbon fibre neck enforcing rods. (I will include a set of white Seymour Duncan pickup covers.) All traditional 5 way Strat configurations. It also has custom burnt chrome hardware on the neck plate, trem arm, input jack, tuner ferrels, tremolo saddles, metal Crimson logo inlay and string tree. The headstock has custom vineered ebony over flamed maple finished in distressed copper. The scratchplate is also custom made of sealed, distressed copper leaf. It is in excellent condition with no dings or scratches apart from those which naturally occur in the copper. It plays like absolute butter and sounds incredible in any of its pickup configurations.
