Our Candle Recycling Program might be the best way to get rid of your empty candle containers! Because usually it's empty, but you can’t get rid of the container, because: it’s too aesthetic you could reuse it...someday. can't recycle containers without melting out the wax “I’m going to clean it next weekend!” tossing nice jars in the trash just feels plain wrong. Whatever the reason, ultimately you end up with a sooty jar-graveyard that haunts you every time you want to buy a fresh, new candle! At Parallax we're big on balancing sustainability with the fun of buying nice things, so we knew we needed to create this recycling program. It reduces: waste clutter the guilt of not having the time or energy to reduce 1 & 2. The hope is If we help free up space, you can fill it with more kindness for yourself. Here's how it works: Make sure you've added a Candle Recycling Box "I Have Candles To Recycle" option at checkout. You will receive your candle order with an additional shipping box and label. Put your used candle jars/containers in the box and stick on the label. Drop it off with the selected shipping partner (USPS, UPS etc), and you're done! [You can choose a direct drop off with us if you’re in NYC] We'll take it from there, cleaning and prepping the containers to recycle at our local plant. ♻️ Reduce waste 🕯️ Support local makers Refresh your Candle Collection ✨ Declutter your space Add this to your cart before checkout if you have used candle containers that you'd like to send back for recycling! ♻️ Along with your candle delivery, you will receive a separate mailer that has: 1. An extra shipping box in your chosen size Small: 6x6x6 in. | Fits about 2-4 jars Medium: 8x8x7 in. | 5-7 jars Large: 12x8x7 in. | 8-12 jars📝 These estimates are based on candle containers approx. 2 to 4 inches in diameter. If you can fit more in the box without any forcing or bulging of the box, please do! 2. Packing paper to protect the jars. 📝 Expanding this type of "honeycomb" paper creates more protective cushioning, so before wrapping you can just gently pull its sides – like an ancient scroll! 3.
