The New York Pro MA-009 is an excellent value for an F-style mandolin with a solid wood top. With a nice sunburst finish and fancy fern-inspired inlay, it looks the part, too. When these are set up properly with good action, the right strings, and proper intonation, they can suit the needs of any player. If you're look for a good first mandolin—or a trusty parking lot festival picker—the MA-009 is hard to beat! This New York Pro MA-009 F-Style Mandolin is gently used and in excellent condition. Its pickguard is missing, and it shows some minor playwear, but otherwise it is very clean cosmetically. It is set up nicely, and it's a great mandolin for the money.
