The provided software for Windows includes advanced tools for time-lapse, image-stitching, measurements, and much more. The lite version of the software for Mac and Linux provides basic functionality for capturing photos and videos, along with color-correction and measurement tools. For Android users, an OTG micro-USB or USB-C adapter (not provided) can be used to connect the microscope to OTG-compatible devices, such as smartphones and tablets. The microscope draws its power from the USB connection, so you can turn a compatible Android device into a fully-portable digital-microscopy system!Specifications Sensor Type Sensor Optical Format Transfer Method CMOS (color) 1/6.5" Rolling Shutter Pixels Pixel Size Aspect Ratio 0.3M 3.4µm x 3.4µm 4:3 Spectral Range (IR Cut Filter) Frame Rate(s) (Maximum) Exposure Time 380nm - 650nm 30fps @ 640x480 0.5ms to 30ms Connectivity Power Compatibility USB 2.0 5V over USB Windows (32/64 bit) XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OSX, Linux Software OS Requirements Windows (32/64 bit) XP/Vista/7/8/10, Mac OS 10.8+, Linux kernel 3.13+ Hardware Requirements Intel Core2 2.8GHz or comparable processor, 2GB RAM, USB port Features Windows Version Live video preview Captures still images and video Time-lapse capture Exposure control Color adjustment Dark-field correction Measurement tools, including lines, arcs, polygons Stitching, extended depth-of-field, segmentation and counting Mac/Linux Versions Live video preview Captures still images and video Exposure control Color adjustment Measurement tools, including lines, arcs, polygons
