Utrecht in Snow On an early morning in 2025 I peeked out of my window in Amersfoort and noticed everything was white from a thin layer of snow that fell at night. The forecasts did not really predict this so I was pleasantly surprised. I quickly got up and was in time to photograph the early morning blue hour in Utrecht, a city about 20 minutes away by car for me. This was on my list for a while and I had already scouted the composition with Google Earth. I quickly flew my drone up a couple of dozen meters above my head as I knew exactly where I needed to be. After taking the photo the city slowly came to life. Just 2 hours later all the snow was gone. it was like the moment never happened. Show more
