The UV-Meter Kühnast Upgrade is a high quality UV measuring instrument. The instrument is calibrated to match the reading of the expired Kühnast 100004, 100008 units and DuPont D11760703, D11760710 devices respectively. A typical application field is the exposure time calibration of Cyrel and other flexo plates as well as diazo, polymer and daylight films in the graphic arts industry, sun tanning equipment, sterilization units and other fields of photo biology. The sensor has a diameter of 43 mm and is 10 mm high. The wire length is 200 cm. In order to save battery energy, the unitI will turn off automatically after one minute. Important:The instrument is available in two spectral ranges: UV-A and UV-C.Please select the required spectral range by clicking on the selector on the right. Calibration:In order to keep its full function and precision it is recommended to have re-calibration done once per year. Re-calibration will also be necessary after change of battery.
