The Facility Kit is specifically designed to provide hospitals, rehabilitation centers, and care facilities with a comprehensive trial package for the OmniCuff adaptive solution. T his kit enables individuals to work closely with professionals, allowing them to explore how the OmniCuff can enhance their independence in daily activities. The Facility Kit includes: Large Basemount: A stable platform for securely attaching adaptive tools when attaching and a home for objects not in use. Small Basemount: A compact alternative to the large basemount Hand Adapters (Set of 2): This piece goes around the user's hand and is needed to operate the system. Each adapter magnetically connects to a connector piece. Please see instructions for more information. Fork, Spoon, Knife: Adaptive utensils that provide patients with hands-on opportunities to test their fit and function. Cup: An adaptive drinking aid, allowing users to trial independent hydration. Phone Mount: Magnetically connect a phone to the connector for independent use. Stylus/Pen Holder: A stylus or pen holder with adjustable angles for easy use. Universal Connector (Set of 3): These connectors allow users to attach the OmniCuff platform to everyday items. Common items include grooming or bathing items such as toothbrushes, hair brushes, razors, etc. We’ve included some examples of these attached to the connectors. Universal Connector Extender: Similar to the universal connector, but with an adjustable angle to allow for adapting items that require unique angles such as cooking tools, bathing items and more. Quick Release Mount: One clamp included to securely attach the kit to surfaces, ensuring stability and use in various environments (wheelchair arm, bedside rail, etc). Hard Shell Carrying Case: A durable and portable case to keep all components organized and easily accessible during trials. Easy store or send the kit for individuals to trial. This kit is an ideal resource for facilities to offer hands-on trials of the OmniCuff, giving patients the chance to see if it meets their needs and enhances their quality of life. Under the guidance of the FDA, please keep any device that creates a magnetic field at least 6 inches away from electronic implanted medical devices. This includes but is not limited to pacemakers, implantable defibrillator, loop recorders, and other electronic implanted devices.
