The polyester fibers resist conduction while the reflective metalized polyester film reflects radiant energy, hot and cold, back to its source. Insul~Bright is not recommended for microwave use. Insul-Bright’s metalized film makes a crinkly sound that is very attractive to babies and animals lending itself to soft books and toys for your pet but it’s kind of noisy for clothing.
