While copies quickly circulate these days, this item is an officially licensed reissue from a master copy. This is a live recording by a band with relatively unknown but technically top-notch members. All members excel at jam sessions, and the album opens with a Grateful Dead cover of "Dark Star." After a series of peaceful tracks, the album culminates in a breathtaking rendition of "Blues for Sun Ra," where multiple guitars, keyboards, and the rhythm section intertwine in a mysterious way, like receiving a signal from outer space. The subsequent flow into the early Pink Floyd classic "Starry Night Drive" is simply cool. This kind of presentation is definitely the work of truly skilled musicians... Disc 2 features a lineup of Black music tracks such as "Broadway," "Cross-Cut Saw," and "Killing Floor," with a slide guitar solo of The Beatles' "Norwegian Wood." Thankfully, the sound quality is superb thanks to the perfectly separated and distinct soundboard.
