Okuma's VACIII D11 is a meticulously built Spindle Drive Type A that meets the high standards of quality and precision that the company is known for. This compact but powerful spindle drive rotates the platters in a hard disk drive and is designed for direct driving capabilities. The unit includes five terminal blocks (EM2, EM1)*1, (STB2, STB1)*1, (U,V,W,Q), (R,S,T,Q), (P1, N1, Q1, FU, FV) and four connectors. Removing the front cover enables access to these terminal blocks for wire connection. The spindle drive is designed to convert motor-generated power into feed force and velocity.
