Increases are made along these raglan stitches until reaching underarm. Then the body and sleeves are worked separately in stocking stitch. The last several rows of the bottom front and back body are worked separately to make a split hem. Borders for both front and back bottom edges and sleeves are worked sideways while decreasing body stitches at the same time.
