It applies from the bottle and can be smoothed with a wet brush before it sets, so it does not need the sanding a two-part epoxy putty would.It is equally useful as a sculpting medium for texture and high relief: snow drifts, mud ridges, stucco and rendered walls. Build high relief in layers, letting each dry before adding the next.
