When a conventional generator encounters tissue changes, both power delivery and cutting efficiency are reduced. This means that higher power settings are required in order to cut through all types of tissue. With higher power settings, more energy is delivered, and tissue damage increases. The Valleylab Force FX-C is an electrosurgical generator. It provides the operator with the power required for cutting, desiccating, and fulgurating tissue during both bipolar and monopolar electrosurgical procedures. You can use handset or footswitch controls to activate the generator.
