The VALOI easy precision framing helicoid is made for the VALOI easy systems (easy35 and easy120), and allows you frame the image with 20mm of stepless adjustment. This allows for precise framing adjustment that can optimise the aesthetics and resolution of the scan. The helicoid screws onto the distance tubes that come with the easy35 and easy120. Add it between your lens and the tubes, adjust, lock and start scanning. Typically, adjusting using the smallest tube is sufficient, but in some applications it might be beneficial to adjust, not in increments, but steplessly to get precise framing. Such use cases might be to maximise your resolution by avoiding cropping in post processing, or to achieve a certain aesthetic framing without having to crop in post processing. Stepless adjustment - solid locking The helicoid can be adjusted with a smooth and tight action to your desired length. Once you have found the exact right length, two thumb screws let you lock the length in place.
