The easy35 Duster removes dust from your film by passing it through a double anti-static brush before entering the holder. This gives scans with less dust and therefore less work r emoving dust afterwards. The two brushes are then sitting in-front of the holder opening where you push film in. This does not guarantee dust-free scans. It is not 100% effective even against loose dust, but removes most of the dust. Dust could also be stuck on the film from the developing and drying process, in which case the Duster will not help.
