Valerian root, Valeriana officinalis, essential oil has a musky, earthy aroma that is appealing to those who are very nervous. The aroma can be relaxing and enhance a peaceful feeling; however, the aroma is very strong. It combines well with hops flowers, ginger root, turmeric, cloves and mints as a low note in blends.
