Vampyr is a dark, rich wine-red (or blood-red if you will) semisolid colourway. I named the colourway after one of the most famous dark folklore beings, the vampire. It would be ve ry difficult to try and summarise the multitude of characteristics attributed to vampires all over the world, but suffice to say that that I am more on the Bram Stoker-Anne Rice spectrum of preference in how I picture them. Despite the occurrence of vampiric creatures already in ancient civilizations, the folklore for the entity known today as the vampire originates almost exclusively from early 18th-century southeastern Europe. In most cases, vampires are revenants of evil beings, suicide victims, or witches, but they can also be created by a malevolent spirit possessing a corpse or most famously, by being bitten by another vampire.
