The Vanguard Alta Pro 263AT is a sturdy tripod with flip-lock legs and a handy variable-angle centre column that can be laid out horizontally for close-up or copystand work. Not ex actly a lightweight, thanks in part to the sturdy centre column mechanism, but not punishingly heavy (it’s about 2kg). Rated to support up to about 6.9kg, though! That ain’t bad.
