Vanilla Color Stabilizer MP Soap Vanilla Color Stabilizer for Melt and Pour Soap the vanilla in fragrance oils from turning melt and pour soap formulations brown. It will not prevent color changes due to ingredients other than vanilla. Must use in a well ventilated area. Use this VCS in Melt & Pour Soap Only. Use This Product to prevent fragrance oils containing vanilla (vanillin) from turning MP Soap Base brown. Directions: Shake well before using. In a glass or plastic mixing container, slowly stir 1 part Vanilla Color Stabilizer to 2 parts fragrance oil. When mixing with fragrances with over 10% vanilla, use a 1 to 1 ratio. Stir well and allow to sit for 2 minutes then immediately add to base formula. Mixture best used within 15 minutes of mixing.
