VARISOFT® EQ 65 MB is a readily biodegradable ester quat with excellent conditioning performance. It improves the conditioning properties of wet and dry hair and can also act as an emulsifier providing a sensory profile typical of cationic emulsions. 2% Varisoft increases “bounce, dry and wet feel along with dry and wet combing. Varisoft EQ 65 can hydrolyze at pH levels of higher than 5, therefore the pH of the product should be adjusted to pH 4 to 4.5 with a 50% citric acid solution at the end of processing.
