Island Teak Varnish Protectant is a wipe-on, UV resistant, marine protectant product that extends the life of varnished wood without changing its appearance. How It Works Our varni sh protectant forms a translucent protective barrier that helps reduce weathering and varnish failure. How to Apply Apply to dry varnished wood using a clean cotton cloth. Wipe on a thin layer of Varnish Protectant. Allow to semi-harden for 4–12 hours, then buff smooth with a clean cotton cloth. Best Results Apply two initial coats, 24 hours apart. Maintain with one quick ‘wipe & buff’ each boating season. Increasing layers provides increased layers of protection. Product Details Contents: 946 ml. Translucent - will not alter existing varnish colour. Adheres to all varnish types and hard surfaces. Clean spills promptly with solvent. Do not apply in bright sunlight. UV resistance develops after hardening. Lay used cloths flat to harden or immerse in water for safe disposal. Warning: soiled, bunched up cloths may spontaneously combust. Show more
