Ashley Brazil is a ceramic artist based in Minneapolis. Having spent her formative yearsgrowing up in a valley near the mountains, forests, and the ocean of the PacificNorthwest, s he feels deeply rooted in finding art in the natural world around her. With abackground in painting, design, and art history, her practice is a culmination of theseinterests. Through clay sculpture, she explores the depth of feeling that certain colorsbring from their interaction with one another and the tactility of texture.
