Primates Brazza Vase is a decorative vase by Italian ceramic brand Bosa. Available in three different designs, the vase is hand-painted with colours from Bosa's own colour palette. Primates Brazza Vase is made of high-quality ceramic, decorative metals and is glazed. It was designed by Elena Salmistraro in 2017 and belongs to the Primates collection. The design language of the vase is creative, dynamic and inspired by the markatta of the monkey genus Brazza.The collection is designed to remind us of the relationship between humans and our closest relative, the monkey. With the design, Elena Salmistraro aims to reflect on similarities in body language, facial expressions and movement. The first collection was shown in 2017 at Maison&Objet and included vases. The inspiration for the design comes from three different monkey genera, the mandrill, the golden markatta and the brazzas markatta.
