The Vaso Corda is an Italian terracotta planter with a simple, tapered form and a rope detail set around the middle. The band sits slightly raised from the surface, giving it a lighter, more informal feel than the more structured classical pieces. Made in Impruneta from high-fired terracotta with a single drainage hole. The clay is naturally porous, helping regulate moisture and support healthy root growth. The surface starts soft and matte, then deepens and picks up variation over time outdoors. Frost-resistant to -22°F when properly drained. The scale works well for herbs, small flowering plants, or other outdoor plantings that call for a smaller terracotta planter. Easy to place on a table, ledge, or clustered in a group.
