The Vaso Rosoni Quadrato is an Italian terracotta planter with a compact square form and a carved rosette set into each side, a motif drawn from Renaissance and Baroque ornament. Made in Impruneta from high-fired terracotta with a single drainage hole. The clay is naturally porous, allowing for airflow at the root level and helping regulate moisture. The surface starts matte and warm in tone, then deepens and develops variation over time outdoors. Frost-resistant, with good drainage recommended in colder conditions. Offered in a range of smaller sizes, suited to herbs, annuals, or low, structured plantings. The square footprint works well on terraces, along borders, or near entry points where a bit of detail can be read up close.
