The Vaso Rustico Bugnato has a gently flared, beehive-shaped form. The proportions are close to standard nursery pots, which makes plant transfers more straightforward without disturbing the root ball. Made in Impruneta from high-fired terracotta with a single drainage hole. The clay is naturally porous, allowing for airflow at the root level and helping regulate moisture. The surface starts matte and warm in tone, then deepens and develops variation over time outdoors. Frost-resistant, with good drainage recommended in colder conditions. A band of shallow scalloped detailing sits just below the rim, with two ridges near the base finished with subtle beading. The fuller shape holds more soil and provides extra stability in exposed or windy settings, making it well suited for shrubs, citrus, or other larger plantings.
