The Vaso Scanalato Classico is an Italian terracotta planter with a series of vertical flutes running the length of its tapered form. The fluting catches light and shadow, giving t he surface more depth. Made in Impruneta from high-fired terracotta with a single drainage hole. The clay is naturally porous, allowing for airflow at the root level and helping regulate moisture. The surface starts matte and warm in tone, then deepens and develops variation over time outdoors.
