Vat No. 1 is a rare blended malt whisky. Limited to No. 265 bottles in total to honour the personnel of Operation Chariot. Each bottle is 70cl and is hand numbered from the edition of 265. Boarding the aging destroyer Campbeltown — its bow laden with explosives — they steamed straight into the caisson gate of the Joubert Lock at St Nazaire. Demolition parties leapt ashore under intense fire, while motor launches fought their way in. At dawn, the dry dock lay in ruins—and with it, the enemy’s Atlantic repair haven.Many never returned. We raise this dram in memory of their courage, resolve, and sacrifice.
