Vat 01 is an extremely rare blended malt whisky. Limited to No. 265 bottles in total to honour the personnel of Operation Chariot. Its so good its dangerous" Al Murray This whisky is made from blending incredibly rare casks of single malts, blended by our master blender, creating a cask and flavour that can never be recreated and just enough to make 265 bottles. The question is does it go on the shelf or do you crack it open. Each bottle is hand signed by both and James Holland and Al Murray. Boarding the aging destroyer Campbeltown — its bow laden with explosives — they steamed straight into the caisson gate of the Joubert Lock at St Nazaire. Demolition parties leapt ashore under intense fire, while motor launches fought their way in. At dawn, the dry dock lay in ruins—and with it, the enemy’s Atlantic repair haven.Many never returned. We raise this dram in memory of their courage, resolve, and sacrifice.
