The basis of the XP glove is still clearly a Vaughn style build; however this glove is cleverly disguised with a very similar graphic to that of its V9 Pro Carbon counterpart. The graphic sits a top of a 1-piece cuff design which also differs from the V9 glove. A 1-piece cuff has become preferred across most goalies, as the 1-piece cuff helps provide rigidity over the wrist to create a large blocking surface for when the goalie hits a blocker butterfly.
