1 Timothy 4:12: “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” Paul was a mentor to his son in the faith, Timothy, teaching and encouraging him to be an example to the believers. There are many Biblical examples of young people who were great examples in their word, conduct, love, faith, and purity. We can be examples at any age, even when we are young! In this VBS, we will learn about Jeremiah (word), Joseph (conduct), David and Jonathan (love), Samuel (faith), and Josiah (purity). The character trait learned in each lesson will correspond to a different piece of camping equipment to help students understand the need to live godly lives. Please Note: This is one of my earliest VBS curricula. Since creating it, my curriculum design has grown significantly. This study contains fewer resources and a simpler layout than my newer VBS curricula and is priced accordingly.
