VC10 Placidochromis milomo VC10, also known as Super VC-10, is a larger Lake Malawi hap with a strong profile and a bold adult look. It does best in aquariums with open swimming room, rocky structure, and tank mates that can handle a mildly aggressive hap temperament. Origin and Habitat Native Region: Lake Malawi-wide distribution. Natural Habitat: Deep rocky habitats. Physical Characteristics Size: 8-10 inches. Coloration: Mature males develop stronger display coloration; females and juveniles are usually more subdued. Body Shape: Large, laterally compressed hap body with a sturdy head and active swimming style. Behavior and Temperament Temperament: Mildly aggressive. Social Behavior: Best kept with similar-sized Lake Malawi haps and sturdy peacocks in a spacious setup. Aquarium Care Tank Size: A 75 gallon aquarium or larger is recommended; larger tanks are better for adult males. Water Parameters: 74-84°F, pH 7.4-8.4, hard water.
