Unfortunately, the VDO black series gauge we have known to love in the BMW community is no longer available. VDO has now replaced it with their Single Viu line. Although there are some positives and negatives to the switch, we think it is far superior of a gauge. The Single Viu VDO oil pressure gauge is now equipped with a dual input that allows you to use this as an analog gauge or a digital gauge. You will be able to use this with your current temperature senders but it can also be integrated into the CAN bus as per standard J1939. The Single Viu gauges have a black dial face with white numbers and needle when not lit, but can be programmed to light up white, red, green, blue, amber, or yellow. Please note, no matter which color you pick, the needle will always glow orange. If you do not like the white gauge face, wire the illumination wire to 12v+ accessory, so it will glow at all times. Only the gauge numbers and lines glow, leaving the background black. The downside to all this is, you have to have special software and cables to make these changes. The upside to all this is, we are providing this service for free if you purchase a gauge through us. The Single Viu gauge is 52mm in diameter.
