The autofocus feature ensures the picture is clear even in low lighting conditions. Its belt driven PTZ mechanism ensures whisper quiet operation. With its easy plug and play installation, this HD web camera supports USB 2.0 and RS 232 for additional versatility. The Blade VS+ HD PTZ USB Camera with 10x optical and 12x digital zoom offers HD video over USB 2.0 and features a 1/2.8″ CMOS sensor with 1920 x 1080 native resolution, offering 350° of pan, and 180° of tilt. Video is encoded using the MJPEG format, with video resolutions of 1080p, 720p, and 640 x 480 available at 30fps. The camera, along with PTZ functions, can be controlled using the included IR remote, or via the RS-232 serial port. Up to seven position presets can be stored on the IR remote, with more presets available through RS-232 or from the on-screen application via USB. A sleep mode for privacy is also supported as is an on-screen display for configuration. The USB 2.0 connection hosts data/control/power over the single connection and works over VDO360's VUSBEXT-U extenders.
