Vantage Vector® is an all-in-one detection sensor that provides both stop-bar and advanced zone detection via lane-by-lane radar technology over CAT5 ethernet cable. Vector looks u p to 200m upstream and extends the green if approaching vehicles are detected in the Dilemma Zone, thereby dramatically reducing the number of Dilemma Zone-related collisions. It is ideal for intersections with high speeds, truck traffic or high collision rates. Using video technology for stop bar detection, Vector detects and counts vehicles, bicycles (SmartCycle) and pedestrians (PedTrax) in the cross walk.
