Our notes The Slim Briefcase takes a modern briefcase silhouette, cut slim and clean to the shape of what goes in it, so a 15 inch laptop, a tablet, an A4 notebook, a document pack or a hardback sit flat against the panel and the bag stays trim under your arm. It's the one for the day where you want to carry your essentials properly and nothing more. The handles take it by hand, or clip the strap on to wear it over the shoulder or across the body. Where the strap crosses the shoulder there's a padded shoulder piece lined in vegan suede, soft against you and wide enough to spread the weight comfortably, and the whole strap comes off again when you don't want it. A metal zip runs the full width of the top and turns down both sides, so the case opens wide and flat and a laptop goes in and out without angling it through a gap. The pull carries a folded vegan leather tab, long enough to work one-handed. Inside, a zip closes a pocket in the lining for keys, glasses and a wallet. The handles run onto vegan leather straps carried down the full depth of the front and back, so a loaded case pulls against the panels rather than against the stitching at the top edge, and it's built on a shallow set-in gusset that holds it square rather than letting it slump. It's cut in our signature Italian bio-based vegan leather with a fine cross-hatch grain and lined in vegan suede, soft to the hand with a light grain.
